Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will be in Jaipur on September 27 as part of the Centre’s nationwide ‘Next Gen GST’ campaign. The initiative seeks to showcase the benefits of the revised GST structure, which the government says will help reduce inflation, simplify compliance, and accelerate economic growth.
During her visit, the Finance Minister will interact with chartered accountants, company secretaries, doctors, and other professionals to explain how the new GST slabs make taxation more efficient and business-friendly.
The outreach is being positioned not only as an awareness drive to ensure that citizens and businesses fully benefit from the reforms but also as a political message highlighting the Modi government’s commitment to transparency, ease of doing business, and inclusive growth. The campaign underscores GST reforms as a cornerstone of India’s next phase of economic transformation.
