Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, announced that Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth ₹15 trillion have already been signed in the lead-up to the Rising Rajasthan Summit, scheduled to take place in two months. Sharma’s remarks came in response to criticism from the Congress party.

Speaking at a welcome ceremony organized by the Joint Valmini Workers Union, Sharma addressed the Congress’s recent statements, where the opposition questioned the outcomes of his international visits. “I heard the Congress press conference today, where they claimed that the chief minister went abroad and didn’t bring back any money. Do they think investments come in sacks or bags? MoUs worth ₹15 trillion have been signed already. Can’t they see the work that has been done? And we still have two months before the Rising Rajasthan Summit,” he said.

The chief minister also praised sanitation workers for their vital role in nation-building, highlighting their contributions to maintaining a clean and healthy environment, and protecting the public from diseases and unhygienic conditions
