The Bharat Electricity Summit 2026, a flagship global conference-cum-exhibition for the power and electricity sector, is set to be held from March 19–22, 2026 at Yashobhoomi, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, and global stakeholders to shape the future of energy.
One of the World’s Largest Power Sector Gatherings
The summit is expected to host 100+ high-level sessions, 300+ speakers, participation from 80+ countries, 500+ exhibitors including 100+ startups, and over 25,000 visitors, making it one of the largest global platforms focused on electricity and energy.
Centered around the theme “Electrifying Growth. Empowering Sustainability. Connecting Globally.”, the event will feature strategic and technical conferences, leadership panels, and focused industry dialogues aimed at accelerating innovation and growth in the electricity sector.
Global Participation and High-Level Leadership
The summit will witness participation from Union Ministers including Manohar Lal Khattar, Pralhad Joshi, and Shripad Yesso Naik, along with senior officials such as Pankaj Agarwal and Ghanshyam Prasad.
In addition, Energy Ministers from over 10 countries, representatives from 25+ Indian states and Union Territories, ambassadors from nearly 60 countries, and more than 100 global CEOs will participate, reinforcing the summit’s global significance.
Driving India’s Energy Transition and Investment Growth
With projected investments exceeding ₹50 lakh crore across generation, transmission, distribution, and energy storage by 2032, the summit will focus on unlocking opportunities in clean energy, grid modernization, and digital transformation.
A key highlight will be the emphasis on Make in India, promoting indigenous manufacturing across solar power, energy storage, transmission infrastructure, and smart grid technologies.

Several Indian states including Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, and Punjab will participate as strategic and partner states, facilitating policy dialogue and inter-state collaboration.
Large-Scale Exhibition Showcasing Future Technologies
A 20,000 sqm exhibition will form a central pillar of the summit, showcasing innovations across power generation, renewable energy, transmission systems, energy storage, smart grids, and digital technologies.
Dedicated zones for startups and emerging technologies will provide a platform for innovators and manufacturers to present next-generation solutions in energy efficiency, battery storage, and clean energy systems.

The summit will host several high-impact forums including:

Thematic sessions will cover critical areas such as energy storage, hydropower, carbon markets, Industry 4.0 in transmission, regulatory frameworks, and vendor development.

Specialized dialogues like CableTech 2026 and discussions led by the India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) will explore emerging technologies and investment avenues.
