Raj CM Ashok Gehlot Inaugurates Edu Infra Worth Rs. 86 Crores
Rajasthan Government’s infrastructure betterment spree continued with the E-inauguration of colleges in the state worth more than Rs. 86 Crores. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot inaugurated projects for the betterment of Higher & Technical Education in the state and said, “These establishments would make robust educational infrastructure in the state.
11 Higher Education institutes with 10 colleges and 1 RUSA have been established in several corners of the state and thousands of students are benefiting from it. Apart from this, 9 establishments for Technical Education comprising labs, colleges and hostels were also inaugurated on Friday. “The institutions have been established in several corners of the state and lakhs of students are benefiting from these. The major focus of the state has been on providing education to the needy for free, like in tribal areas, the cost has been borne by the Rajasthan Government. Now, we are also eyeing to boost the knowledge of Data Science, Artificial intelligence and Robotics in many colleges, including non-engineering colleges,” said Dr. Subhah Garg, State Minister, Technical Education, Government of Rajasthan.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhanwar Singh Bhati, Higher Education Minister, Rajasthan Government said, “The state has offered nearly 80 educational institutes in the past 1.5 years. With the focus on E-Teaching, we are rapidly moving forward with ideas to provide a better state of education and have converted nearly a dozen UG colleges into PG and have recorded more than 1,00,000 E-lectures for students to have full access for better education”.
E-inauguration of hostel for women, labs in several districts was done by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and many dignitaries were present on the occasion. Briefing about the ceremony, Shuchi Sharma, Higher & Technical Education Secretary said, “Inspired by the Gandhian approach of Honourable Chief Minister Shri. Ashok Gehlot, we have launched a special community outreach programme for students named Aanandam. Many Universities have already given a nod for this socially beneficial project, in fact with the inauguration of these educational institutions, Rajasthan has not only received educational infrastructure for the benefit of students, but with the modernisation of syllabus and introduction of Aanandam, the Higher and Technical education is moving towards a holistic education leading to happiness among youth”.
