PFC’s CMD Dedicates Solar Roof Top System To ASHA School

Government-owned Power Finance Corporation (PFC), India’s leading NBFC, has installed a standalone solar rooftop system at ASHA School, run by the Indian Army Wives Welfare Association in Delhi Cantonment. The installation has been carried out as part of PFC’s CSR initiative.

Mr.Ravinder Singh Dhillon Chairman and Managing Director, PFC along with Lt.  General R K Anand inaugurated the stand-alone solar rooftop system of 5 kWp capacity. Under this CSR initiative, PFC is providing 5kWp standalone solar roof top systems with battery back in 37 Asha schools across the country. Asha School is run by Army Wives Welfare Association, which works for the welfare of the spouses, children and dependents of the Army personnel. ASHA schools are educating and training differently abled children to bring them into main stream of society.

PFC is also providing solar lanterns to Indian Army under its CSR initiative. 5,000 solar lanterns have already been supplied to Indian Army which is helping them in tough terrains and forward posts.
